Although she has had no formal art training, Helen Nimmo has always loved to draw and paint. In 1990 she and her husband travelled to Europe. During that visit Helen decided to sketch some of the magnificent buildings and landscapes of Switzerland while she was there. Since then she has continued to record her travels this way. But her great love is drawing historic towns and buildings. When she visited Tasmania it provided the ideal subject for her talents.
